Company

Fidelio Cruise Software GmbH, established in Hamburg in February 1995, is majority owned by MICROS Systems, Inc.

In addition to headquarters in Hamburg, the Company today has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Kuala Lumpur from which it develops, installs and supports a broad range of IT systems designed to raise operational efficiency and maximise revenue generation.

The Fidelio Cruise philosophy is based on forming and maintaining a close working relationship with clients and their IT personnel so that the performance of both existing systems and the Company's own software can be perfectly integrated to operate with maximum efficiency.

The Company's four main product lines consist of:

Ship’s Property Management System – a central database containing all passenger and crew information from which broad functionality and an extensive range of integrated but stand-alone software Modules are available.

Fleet Management System – a powerful management tool installed in a cruise line’s headquarters and across a fleet of ships to log all transactions and make data available for shore-based managers to compare operational and financial performance against a range of parameters.

Materials Management – a real-time fleet-wide inventory and consumables management system available both at an individual shipboard level and, at a cruise line’s headquarters, across a fleet of vessels, enabling complete constant central control of all consumables.

MICROS Points of Sale – a real-time shipboard point-of-sale system, fully integrated with Fidelio Cruise’s Onboard Card, allowing a cash-free environment for cruise guests and a constant track of all financial transactions on board.

Fidelio Cruise has also responded to the increasing demand from the growing river cruise sector and in early 2005 released a River Ship Property Management System that addresses the specific needs of river operators.
