Cruise operators to accommodate last-minute bookings thanks to Fidelio Cruise’s ResOnline system - Friday, April 11, 2008

The FC ResOnline system has been designed specifically to facilitate automatic data transfer from shore-side reservation systems to onboard users up to a short time before sailing.

“The ability to sell tickets and update passenger information close to the time of sailing is a key objective of many cruise lines,” says Fidelio Cruise President Tony Heuer, “and our new ResOnline software does just that. Now operators can continue to sell cruises and onboard services right up to few minutes before their ship sails.”

She has been installed with the company’s core Ship’s Property Management System for complete passenger, crew and visitor handling as well as on-board financial operations and the latest point-of-sale terminals from Micros which are interfaced with the SPMS and Materials Management systems.

Fleet-wide adoption of FC’s Fleet Management System nears completion at Holland America Line

The implementation of Fidelio Cruise’s Fleet Management System (FMS) across Holland America Line’s 13-ship cruise fleet is now almost complete. Only two vessels, Maasdam and Volendam, remain and their conversions to Fidelio’s Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) inclusive of FMS will finish by the end of May. This will leave only Holland America Line’s newbuilding Eurodam, due to be delivered from Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in June, which will have FMS in operation from day one in addition to the complete complement of solutions provided by Fidelio’s SPMS and MICROS® 9700 Point of Sale. read more...
