Added functionality in SPMS radically cuts emergency passenger-handling times, with the introduction of electronic hand-held devices. The new system enables cruise operators to manage the emergency mustering process by tracking each individual passenger and crew member, whilst simultaneously keeping officers on the bridge fully informed of progress.
