Leaders of the Cruise Industry are meeting in Brussels for the European Cruise Industry 2008 Conference

Fidelio Cruise Software is pleased to have the opportunity to be involved in this' years European Cruise Industry 2008 Conference which will be held on 26th February 2008 at the Sheraton Brussels Hotel & Towers.

Leaders of Europe's 20 key cruise lines, shipyards, manufacturers, ports as well as representatives of the European Commission and Parliament will have the chance to meet and discuss their views.

There will be a message on film from the director of IMO's Maritime Environment Division, Miguel Palomares, as well as another packed agenda which has been designed to touch upon some of the major issues facing the industry today at a time when Europe has assumed the position as the centre of gravity of the cruise industry. Europe's shipbuilding prowess, manufacturing innovation, market growth, destination for Americans and its status as a key regulatory centre have all combined to change the dynamic in the industry and place Europe at its centre.

John Richardson, the architect of the Blue Paper recently published by the European Commission will present an overview of the direction of Maritime Policy. And David Dingle, CEO Carnival UK and Chairman ECC, will respond on behalf of the owners. The shipyards are represented by the senior executives from Fincantieri, Meyer Werft and Aker Yards who will lead the debate during the shipbuilding seminar.

The conference is organised by Ashcroft & Associates, in partnership with the European Cruise Council. It has already established itself as an integral event in the cruise industry's important and developing relationship with the European Union.

This event is a great opportunity to network with the senior executives from Europe's leading cruise lines, shipyards, manufacturers and ports as well as meet representatives of the European Commission and Parliament. For informations please visit: www.europeancruisecouncil.com
